Hey everyone - check your emails because digital Whisper copies are being sent out now! Surprise! Our team wrapped up layout yesterday and we didn't want to wait any longer.

Getting Your Copy of Whisper

Just like with the corebook, the backer copies of Whisper will be sent via a DriveThruRPG email. So again, check your email for those and make sure you also search your spam folders just in case. As a reminder, you should log in to DriveThruRPG before clicking the link in your email or you might receive an error message. If you get an error, log in to DriveThruRPG and click the link again and that should fix the issue. This collection of Whisper excerpts is presented across 3 PDFs, each one featuring a collection of stories, tales, and other insights into the Dramark. 

This is an advance copy of Whisper and our team is currently prepping print files to send to our printing partner. We encourage you to read through the PDFs and provide us with any feedback, questions, or grammar errors you may find! Our Discord server has a forum where you can report your findings so we can make changes to the print version and update the PDF accordingly.

Reminder: Pledge Manager and Pre-Orders Lock May 24th!

Also, a quick reminder that on May 24th the pledge manager will lock down. You will still be able to change your address, but survey answers will be locked and you will be unable to add any items to your pledge. Alongside this date, the pre-order store will close as well. if you pre-order before this lock date you will get a physical and digital copy of Whisper with your order!

Please make sure you complete your pledge manager by this date!

New PDF Version Released and Pledge Manager Lock Date!

Hello everyone - we hope you all have been enjoying the PDF copy of Our Brilliant Ruin. We have been seeing a lot of great activity and feedback in our Discord server. Things are progressing well on other facets of the deliverables, so let's get into it.

PDF Update

The PDF on DriveThruRPG has been updated to version 1.2, and now includes a handful of grammar fixes and a small clarification on Scheme rules. If you have already downloaded the PDF, you should receive a notice from DriveThruRPG that the new version is available. We will be posting a full list of updates (and any future changes) to our Discord. Big thanks to everyone who contributed finding these errors! 

We are also fortunate enough that we were able to notify our printing partner in time for them to update the print copy as well.

Pledge Manager Locking Soon!

The pledge manager will lock on May 24. After this time, you will still be able to update your address. However, after this date, no add-ons can be attached to your order, and you will not be able to change your survey answers, such as Gen Con pickup. We have only about 10% of backers left to fill out the pledge manager, so please make sure you do that before May 24!

An Update on Whisper

The team is currently still working on layout for Whisper, but we have exciting news - instead of one zine, we are splitting the contents across three shorter zines. Arranging the offerings across this three-zine layout will help us organize the content better and have a more polished product overall.

Whisper will go to print after the book, but we are using a local printing partner for it, so the shipping time will be shorter. By our estimates, this means Whisper will not cause any delay to getting orders sent off to backers, as they will arrive at the fulfillment warehouse around the same time as the dice and books.

Emails Have Been Sent for Name and Create Pledges

If you backed at one of the Name or Create tiers, check your inbox! If you filled out the Google survey we sent a few weeks back, you should have an email from [email protected] for scheduling your designer meeting as well as an Adobe Sign. Make sure you check your spam folder as well.

As soon as you can, please let us know your preferred meeting times as well as fill out the release form. This form will allow us to use your design in future Our Brilliant Ruin media!

We also have a couple people who have not filled out the Google survey. Please do that ASAP so we can get your emails sent over as well. As a reminder, these surveys were sent via a Kickstarter message, so check your inbox.

Play Our Brilliant Ruin At Gen Con!

We recently announced we will be attending Gen Con, and we will have more info on where you'll be able to find us, as well as a special signing opportunity, soon. For now though, Gen Con events are open to view, and we have a number of Our Brilliant Ruin games that will be present! 

You can find the list of games here. Make sure you wishlist them so you can sign up when they go live!
